See? Thirteen and lusting after a woman with a flock of birds painted on her face. No wonder for a number of years eternal celibacy stared me in the (fortunately birdless) face.

Better than my 12 year old crush
Who are these women? And, JFC, you guys are weird, weird, weird. Okay, so I had a crush on someone who I have now forgotten --actually, no: it was Mr. McAllister, my seventh grade teacher (he rode a motorcycle) -- well, someone who no-one else knows. But an actual human being who didn't wear short shorts or anything like that.

And then I got to Uni and discovered Real Men (and...er...slimeballs).
My stereotype/prejudice of Australians being somehow more grounded that Americans has just died a slow painful death that started when I discovered the Wiggles.

You can toast me with any of the fine fighting wines of Australia. All are good in my eyes. I still have another bottle of tempranillo right here, but I'll be keeping my eye open for a nice inexpensive but potable Ozzie Shiraz (or Pinot Noir or Chardonnay -- I know, no-one drinks Chardonnay anymore, it's the new White Zinfandel, but I still like Ozzie Chardonnay).
