I'm Iron Man, which doesn't help me much, as he is a superhero I didn't know as a child. I'd rather be the Hulk (and not only because he was played by Eric Bana, yum).
Iron Man is not so bad a hero. He is an alcoholic genius, determined to heal the world from the weapons he designed as a young man. Noble and flawed, like all good heroes. Tom Cruise is rumoured to play the lead.
I refuse to be a Superhero played by Tom Cruise. Eric Bana, yum yum yum. Sean Bean, boy, howdy. Alan Rickman, me still my aging heart. Even Russell Crowe (well at least the fucker can throw a punch), sure. Tom Cruise? Blech, blech, blech, and more blech. Colin Firth, Johnny Depp, Lou Diamond Philips, Wes Studi, Sam Neill, Pierce Brosnan, Keanu Reaves (actually, I loved him in his magnum opi, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey -- Twister with Death: Genius), Guy Pearce, Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, pretty much anybody is better than Tom Cruise. He is the spawn of satan.
